I enjoy art and love to draw. If you're interested, feel free to visit my deviantART gallery and if you're on that site as well, drop me a line. I drabble in writing, penning the occasional short story, poem, or fanfic which will all undoubtedly end up here at some point. As a rule, my horrific spelling skills are impeded by my trusty spell checker.

I like to listen to jazz, blues, rock, classical, and j-pop/rock. I know all the words to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' Full Moon Fever. I have a weakness for Better Than Ezra. I also play the flute and make rather pathetic attempts at playing the guitar.

Reading is my second favorite pass-time (after drawing) and I can normally be found with something (book, magazine, manga, etc) to read on my person. On occasion I feed the squirrels at a local cemetery where they are strangely friendly. I play videogames and watch anime.

I have a great fondness for knitting, although it takes forever for me to finish anything, but the important thing is that I try. I recently took up crocheting. I am also an origami enthusiast and (yes, Virginia, I am a geek) I collect comic books.

I drink coffee like a fish and invent insane theories about the people who pass me on the freeway. I make allusions to random and often obscure things.

I originally grew up in Chico, CA, but have lived in Idaho since I was twelve. I'm an undergrad student at Idaho State University studying Health Physics, which has nothing to do with a medical profession of any kind and everything to do with the study of radiation and its effects on people and the environment. It's a fascinating subject and a great program if you are even the tiniest bit scientifically inclined...
